About the Role

Our client is a well-respected multi-disciplinary professional service firm covering Surrey and the surrounding counties, offering a full range of services to their client base. You'll be working directly with a wide range of clients, as well as helping to develop work across the region, gaining insights into client's diverse operations, and putting your knowledge to practical use to accelerate their growth.

In this role, you will assist the commercial team with the acquisition and disposal of properties by preparing marketing materials, conducting inspections, and coordinating with clients and other professionals. Your responsibilities will include property valuations for leasing and sales, managing service charge budgets, and negotiating lease renewals. You'll also conduct property surveys, prepare client reports and build professional relationships whilst staying informed on industry regulations. Additionally, you will work towards RICS qualification and contribute to the growth of the Commercial Property department by identifying new business opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate

  • RICS accredited degree essential, ideally with a commercial focus. Candidates with some post graduate experience would be particularly welcome.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to assimilate and convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to learn new skills and working methods and be adaptable to change.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work in an organised and methodical fashion, with high levels of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Numerate and IT Literate, especially Microsoft Office and ideally valuation tools.
  • A full UK driving license is essential, as travel to clients off-site will be a large part of the role.
