What is in it for you?
Well, if I was to say that this brand and company are a household name, with a fantastic reputation of bringing managers through their business with clear pathways of promotion and developing there culture into a modern, forward thinking and supportive team, I would still only be scratching the surface of what this business are trying to do for their team members (plus the pay for this role is up there with the best)
You will work closely with the Factory Manager, who has recently been promoted (hence the new role), and will be a great opportunity to continue your learning from someone who has been in the business for 10yrs already. With multiple sites across the UK and the Globe, this business are leading the way in building a high performance culture and bringing the right people into the business is a major priority of theirs.
What will you be doing?
Production Manager in this business means, you will have 4 Shift Manager's reporting in to you. You will oversee and be responsible for a 24/7 operation, with everything from cold store, to production and process under your remit. The business have worked hard to find a good balance between agency and perm staff, and run consistantly throughout the year, with some great successes coming through from this as well.
Something that is also important to know, is that you will have financial responsbility and oversee the P&L of this area of business. You will be also be part of the SLT, and so will work closely with the Group Management to ensure things are moving in the right direction.
What do you need?
- A strong background in a similar role within Food, Fresh Produce or FMCG (Food is not an essential)
- You must bring an attitude and a level of management that fits culturally with this business.
- The ability to evidence a strong mentoring, developmental and coaching management style.
- Have an aptitide to be flexible, adaptable, hard working and be able to work very well with other departments heads.
