We are looking for People & Culture Assistant to join our client who operates in the FMCG sector for a 6 month contract. You will be providing administrative support to the business, including processing documentation, general reporting, and other essential duties.

Health and Safety Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all tasks are carried out with full awareness of Health and Safety protocols.
  • Maintain ongoing awareness of Risk Assessments, Near Miss reporting culture, and relevant training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for seasonal labour, visitors, deliveries, and post.
  • Support seasonal labour recruitment and conduct interviews.
  • Facilitate seasonal staff inductions and ensure timely and accurate completion of all online documentation via Company App.
  • Conduct Right-To-Work checks.
  • Accurately update systems with relevant employee information in a timely manner.
  • Assist seasonal colleagues with administrative needs such as bank appointments, GP visits, medical assistance, National Insurance applications, and other requests.
  • Print and organise labels and prepare induction packs for colleagues.
  • Support the organisation of Workers Committee meetings, welfare activities, and worker surveys.
  • Place orders for PPE and refreshments as needed.
  • Assist with recruitment campaigns and the hiring of key roles.
  • Attend People & Culture team meetings.
  • General office administration and ad hoc duties as required.

Essential Requirements:

  • Fluent in both English and Russian (verbal and written).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a positive outlook.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
