Salary: Up to 80k - 90K Euros

I'm currently working with a fantastic business who is looking for an operations Manager who wants to hit the ground running and loves a challenge.

The Role

As the Operations Manager, you'll be at the heart of the operation so autonomy will be in your hands. You will be leading production teams and delivering high quality products.

Oversee health and safety, GMP standards and support the ERP systems across the European site ensuring a smooth operation. Handle stock call-offs with the supply chain team and manage storage and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.

Lead upgrades like automation and new equipment and be the main contact for customers during visits. Develop and improve operational structures for growth, coach the production management team, and align warehouse, production, and planning.

Share best practices from the UK and other sites with the European team. Manage the labour strategy for cost control and growth, and handle negotiations with labour providers.

About you

I know you will have these already, but you will need drive, energy, and resilience for their fast-paced, high-growth business. You should be ambitious and enthusiastic, ready to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.

Key qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in improving operations and efficiency in complex, multi-site manufacturing, especially with short shelf-life products.
  • Deep knowledge of lean methodologies and a history of implementing best practices.
  • Extensive experience managing the planning process in seasonal businesses with peak periods.
  • Excellent people skills, having the drive to inspire the workforce and having a hands-on approach when needed.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building across the organization.
