A well-established, family-run garden centre in Worcestershire is looking for a Garden Centre Supervisor to join their friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a welcoming environment where customer care and quality plants and products are at the heart of everything they do.

About the Role

As Garden Centre Supervisor, you'll be hands-on in daily operations-helping to maintain stock, create inviting displays, and ensure customers receive a warm welcome. Working closely with the senior management team and directors, you'll play a key role in stock control, ordering, and supporting a small, dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example-supporting and guiding the team in the different departments.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them find the right products while promoting seasonal offers.
• Maintain the centre clean, well-presented, and well-stocked with eye-catching displays.
• Assist with stock planning, ordering, checking deliveries, and conducting regular stock counts.
• Work collaboratively in a small team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and excellent customer service.

The Ideal Candidate

• Horticultural knowledge is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in a retail or garden centre setting (supervisory experience preferred is essential).
• A friendly and approachable nature, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proactive hands-on approach.
• Basic computer skills and good communication abilities.
