Are you a passionate and experienced Store Manager with a love for garden retail? We are recruiting for a Garden Centre Manager to lead the team at a well-established, independent garden centre.

About the Role

As the Garden Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the overall running of the centre, ensuring excellent customer service, strong commercial performance, and a thriving team environment. You'll oversee stock management, merchandising, and drive sales while maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team to deliver outstanding service and expert advice.
  • Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships.
  • Oversee visual merchandising to create an attractive and engaging shopping experience.
  • Drive sales and business growth while maintaining profitability.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including health & safety and compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the centre's reputation and customer base.

About You

  • Previous senior management experience in a garden centre or retail.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • Commercially astute with a keen eye for retail trends and sales opportunities.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for plants, garden retail, and delivering a great customer experience.
