About our Client

We are working with one of the largest importers and packers of fresh produce, they supply into a leading retailers and food service customers 52 weeks a year and are looking to recruit an experienced Technical Manager to join the team.

About the Role

This fantastic Technical Manager opportunity is ideal for someone wanting to take ownership of your product category and build great relationships with the supply base and customers. You will have the ability to influence, manage the supplier approval process, be "hands on" and lead the technical team through coaching and mentoring.

The Ideal Candidate

For this role you will be currently working as a Technical Manager within a fresh produce business, you will have a good working knowledge of retailer standards, will have been involved with BRC and customer audits, have HACCP and Food safety level 3 and ideally have an internal auditor qualification. You will have excellent communication skills across the board and have a flexible approach to work.
