Your Mission:
As a Technical Compliance Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the Technical Department is efficient, responsive, and proactive. Your attention to detail and technical know-how will help maintain essential documentation, track compliance metrics, and support audits to uphold the highest food industry standards.

What You'll Do:
✔ Maintain and organise key records, reports, and trackers (Barcode check sheets, supplier matrices, packaging libraries, and more).
✔ Investigate and follow through on grower/pesticide approvals, complaints, product changes, traceability tests, and recalls.
✔ Support internal audits to meet standards such as BRC, Red Tractor, and LEAF.
✔ Oversee pest control visits and audits while keeping key portals and filing systems up to date.
✔ Prepare monthly KPI reports, testing summaries, and quality assurance intake summaries.
✔ Stay audit-ready for customer audits, plant passporting, SMETA/Sedex, and environmental policy compliance.
✔ Champion health, safety, and environmental best practices.

What We're Looking For:
Must-Have:
* Methodical, detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and reliable.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel (formulas, formatting, graphs) and general IT.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
* Previous experience in a food industry and/or technical compliance function.
* Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Preferred (Not Essential):
* Knowledge of BRC, Red Tractor, Leaf Marque, Global GAP.
* HACCP (Level 3), Food Safety (Level 3), or similar food-related qualifications.
