Are you an MRICS qualified rural surveyor looking to elevate your career in a well-respected consultancy?

Would you like to join a leading team providing exceptional rural estate management and consultancy services?

Our client, a prominent firm in the industry, is dedicated to delivering outstanding results for a diverse clientele, including prestigious private estates. They are now looking to add a senior member of staff to their team, covering their Chelmsford and Ipswich offices, working in close partnership with colleagues in their residential, agency, farming, forestry, natural capital and finance teams.

What will I be doing?

You will take charge of key estate management clients, acting as principal agent and providing intuitive, professional advice. Alongside this, you'll be engaging in business development; maintaining and building further the profile of our client in the region. You'll be conducting estate and farm business reviews, and offering diversification advice to enhance clients' portfolios. Additionally, there will be the opportunity to take on valuation work for a variety of purposes. Your role will involve mentoring junior surveyors, supporting them through their APC journey and providing sound, structured training alongside other members of the team.

What do I need?

We are seeking candidates with MRICS qualifications, ideally with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in rural surveying, though they'd be keen to hear from candidates that don't fit within these PQE parameters as well. CAAV/SAAVA membership/qualification would be an advantage. Strong leadership skills, an ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships, and excellent communication capabilities are essential. Experience with rural and residential valuations is a plus, and local knowledge is advantageous, though not mandatory.

Who for?

Our client is a household name in the industry, committed to maintaining long-term relationships with clientele. They offer clear career progression opportunities all the way up to Director/Senior Leadership, backed by a competitive salary and bonus structure.
