Are you an accomplished, proven Senior Operational leader, already operating at a Head of Operations/Operations Director level, with experience in overseeing either Food or Fresh Produce production/manufacturing sites? We are working closely with a well-established business who over the past several years have been working really hard to develop aboth their high performing team, and their operation throughout. Identifying an opportunity for growth, the business have been significantly investment over the past year or so, with plenty of plans in place for the future as well.
With change and growth on the horizon, the current Operations Director is due to move forward in their pathway, and so is looking for someone to pick up where they leave things. There is a fantastic opporutnity for someone that wants to be involved for the long term, be part of exciting growth and change and be at the forefront of making a real difference
About the Role
As Operations Director, you will report to the Managing Director, overseeing all operational aspects of the business. Ultimately, this will be working at a strategic level, looking at efficiencies and productivity, and ensuring the highest yield is produced, whilst maintained cost-effectiveness for a lot of the major UK retailers. You will have all H&S, Engineering, Supply Chain and Production reporting in to you, and P&L responsibility and oversight for these.
As mentioned, you will handle all CAPEX and project related budgets, and be pivotal in the role out of new site developments, machinery and further investment in the operational side of the business.
What do you need?
- Proven experience within a Senior Operational role within Food or Fresh Produce manufacturing.
- Ability to engage and motivate all different levels of the workforce/team.
- Tangible examples of site development, improvements and handling of CAPEX projects.
- Multi department management, including P&L experience and collaborative management.
