As we continue to grow and expand our product line, we are looking for a dynamic and dedicated NPD Assistant to join our team.

Position Overview:

I am looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented NPD Assistant to support the New Product Development team in bringing exciting and delicious new food products to market.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about food, has a strong work ethic, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

As an NPD Assistant, you will be responsible for providing vital support in all aspects of the NPD process, from concept development to product launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including chefs, product developers, and marketers, to execute NPD projects.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining detailed project timelines to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging food trends.
  • Participate in product testing and sensory evaluations to ensure products meet quality and taste standards.
  • Assist in developing product specifications, cost analysis, and supplier relationships.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout the NPD process.
  • Support the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and idea generation for new product concepts.
  • Assist in coordinating product trials and pilot runs in the production facility.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience or placement in food product development or a related role is desirable.
  • Strong passion for food and a keen interest in culinary trends and innovations.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Quality/Technical experience with added NPD experience/interest
