What's the role?

No day is the same in the sprawling multi-site operation, where over 600 talented individuals are the driving force behind packaging fresh, whole head and prepared vegetables for wholesale and high-street retailers. As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you'll be part of our operation, tackling tasks like:

  • Executing day-to-day maintenance tasks and line improvements.
  • Implementing solutions to reduce downtime in line with our engineering strategy.
  • Using root cause analysis to uncover underlying reasons behind problems and failures enhances plant performance.
  • Taking part in exciting engineering projects from inception to delivery.
  • Championing a proactive PPM culture and collaborating seamlessly with our operations team.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external teams and maintaining the restock cycle for engineering stores.

What are the requirements?

  • A time-served apprenticeship.
  • Electrical qualifications from recognized bodies.
  • NVQ Level 3 or BTEC L3 (or equivalent).
  • Electrical fault-finding skills and Logic Control experience (desirable).
