What are your responsibilities?

  • Manage routine servicing and regular inspection of all electrical, mechanical, and other equipment of the facility, including boilers, high-pressure pumps, and gearboxes.
  • Repair and maintain all equipment on site
  • Clearly relay issues with the system to the people responsible for the maintenance of Heat Pumps or CHPs.
  • Maintain records of the repair and maintenance work conducted in the facility.
  • Lead maintenance projects.
  • Coordinate and produce feedback on the functionality of the machinery and equipment.

What are your requirements?

  • Mechanical and electrical engineering experience
  • Prior experience with heating systems, ideally glasshouse heating
  • Experience in maintaining and repairing production machinery
  • Skills in fabrication using lathe and welding
  • Valid UK Driving License
  • Flexibility on working hours, including potential call-outs (only happened twice in the last year).
  • Ability to lead and be part of driven and motivated teams
