What are your responsibilities?
- Manage routine servicing and regular inspection of all electrical, mechanical, and other equipment of the facility, including boilers, high-pressure pumps, and gearboxes.
- Repair and maintain all equipment on site
- Clearly relay issues with the system to the people responsible for the maintenance of Heat Pumps or CHPs.
- Maintain records of the repair and maintenance work conducted in the facility.
- Lead maintenance projects.
- Coordinate and produce feedback on the functionality of the machinery and equipment.
What are your requirements?
- Mechanical and electrical engineering experience
- Prior experience with heating systems, ideally glasshouse heating
- Experience in maintaining and repairing production machinery
- Skills in fabrication using lathe and welding
- Valid UK Driving License
- Flexibility on working hours, including potential call-outs (only happened twice in the last year).
- Ability to lead and be part of driven and motivated teams
