I am working with one of the leading food manufacturers, who are dedicated to supplying high-quality products to some of the largest retailers. This is an exciting time to join the company as they are expanding their engineering team in preparation for the opening of a brand new site this year. Their continued success and growth has given the opportunity for talented engineers to become part of a dynamic and innovative team.

About the Role

They are seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (electrically biased) to join their team on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, covering both days and nights (6am-6pm). This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of their manufacturing processes and maintaining our high standards of production within the new facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Attending to breakdowns and ensuring minimal downtime
  • Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on all machinery
  • Reporting directly to the Engineering Supervisors
  • Maintaining all food manufacturing machinery on site to ensure optimal performance
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Electrically biased multi-skilled maintenance engineer
  • Experience in the food manufacturing industry is desirable
  • Electrically qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • 18th Edition qualification
  • A good team player with excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated and eager to become a valuable member of the team
