IT Analyst

Our client, a leading food manufacturing business in the Manchester area, is looking to add an IT Analyst to its team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to grow your career within a dynamic and supportive workplace.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support EDI configurations for external partners.
  • Oversee and troubleshoot all data flows (including IDocs and RFCs) between internal SAP systems and third-party platforms such as Seeburger.
  • Perform data analysis and develop custom reporting tools to assist various business functions.
  • Participate in the testing and validation of new reports and system enhancements.
  • Act as a point of contact for Super Users, assisting with SAP-related enquiries and technical issues.
  • Set up and manage core master data across both live and test SAP environments.

Required

  • Broad knowledge of SAP across multiple modules.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and Access, including VBA scripting.
  • Competence in writing SQL queries and handling database tasks.
  • Previous exposure to SAP systems and data structures.
  • Working knowledge of Python programming.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP SD module and EDI integration via Seeburger is highly desirable
  • ITIL Foundation certified.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including at the director level.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Access - including hands-on experience with VBA.
  • Good understanding of SAP roles, permissions, and authorisation concepts.
