Ready to make the world a better place?

Wanting to kickstart your career in a hands-on role, where the progression opportunities are laid out from day 1?

Tell me more…

This role will see you become a pivotal part of a family-run, incredibly successful commercial tree nursery.

They've worked hard to create a unique training plan, which will be tailored to you.

This 2-year training plan will see you spending 6-month secondments across different parts of the business.

Picture this across their four sites:

Role 1: Potting

Role 2: Dispatch

Role 3: Growing

Role 4: Quality.

Through doing this, you'll get exposure to all areas of the business and a complete understanding of the process from start to finish.

You'll find a natural preference in a specific area, which can then shape your role for after the scheme.

You'll also have your own projects to work, gather data and present.

They want to develop the managers of the future. Could that be you?

What do I need?

Ideally, you'll have some form of qualification or experience in agriculture or horticulture. It's ok if you don't have anything formal, but a basic understanding of the industry is what we need.

You won't be afraid of physically demanding work, and you won't mind a bit of rain!

You'll already have a genuine interest in the sector, and be ready to work hard to build a strong and successful career.

Who For?

A family business. A family business that has grown rapidly and now has 130 full-time members of staff. Big, but still have that family feel and ethos at heart.

They have 4 sites across Yorkshire and supply high-quality trees, shrubs, and plants for over 100 years.
