Are you a recent Graduate looking for you first steps into the world of Engineering? If so, read on….

We are currently working with one of the fastest growing businesses within the Process and Food Sector, who are currently expanding across the board as part of their long-term growth strategy. The business has already doubled their head count over the last 3 years, with the plan to add an additional six heads by the end of 2023 across various departments.

The Role

The business is looking for a Graduate who has graduated with any relevant Mechanical Engineering degree and has Project management exposure. The role has a three-month training programme, that allows for complete exposure to the design and manufacturing process, so no work experience is necessary, however any experience outside of your degree is going to be of benefit to your application.

The Graduate Project Engineer will be working in the Process Project team, alongside five other engineers and under the guidance of a Project manager, working on fully automated Process and Manufacturing Equipment used in the Food, Beverage, Process, Cosmetic and Pharmaceutical Industries. This would require occasional travel visiting customers sites.

About You

The client is looking for candidates with the following knowledge or experience:

  • Any relevant Mechanical Engineering degree
  • Ability to use CAD and read technical drawings/P&IDs
  • Knowledge of Project Management, either a module or qualification (e.g.PRINCE2) is required
  • Full UK Drivers License

As this is a trainee position, do not worry if you are not an expert as full guided training, including weekly team peer reviews, will guide you through.

If you are interested, please apply with an up-to-date copy of your CV. Ensure you detail any relevant projects, placements or work experience you have that you feel would be relevant to this position.
