About the Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing lines. You will be working a 3 shift pattern consisting of afternoons and nights. You will be reporting directly to the Site Maintenance Manager, you'll work closely with the production and technical teams to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency. Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure manufacturing lines operate efficiently.
- Collaborate with production and technical teams to align with production schedules.
- Diagnose and resolve faults, contributing to continuous improvement of equipment performance.
- Support efforts to minimise production downtime and maintain operational excellence.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, such as ONC Electrical Engineering or BTEC Level 3 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- 17/18th Edition
- Proven background in engineering and fault-finding roles within an FMCG environment, ideally in the food industry.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
