Start your day with a stroll and grab a coffee before you head off to your first farm, just a stones throw away from some of the UK's most beautiful scenery.

Deliver great advice and guidance to farmers on arable and root veg growing.

Go back to an office filled with supportive colleagues, ready to share a laugh, and get up-to-date on your technical knowledge.

Another few farms in the afternoon, chatting with farmers, learning the crops, and building relationships.

Finish the day at an award-winning pub and head for a stroll around the historic 17th-century abbey on the doorstep of your new workplace.

What you'll be doing:

Established over 20 years ago, this growing business delivers high-quality produce to UK supermarkets all year around. With sites around the UK and circa 4,500hec in total, this is a very well-established business.

With growing operations around Nottinghamshire, you will have plenty to do. Checking the crop growth and development to be sure of yield success.

You will be instructing on fertiliser and pesticides but don't worry, you won't be pushing sales, purely advice. That's the perks of being an in-house agronomist for a business.

An attractive salary is on offer for the position along with a performance bonus to celebrate your success.

What you'll need:

BASIS and/or FACTS are important for this role as they will allow you to hit the ground running. However, if you have a good quantity of arable and veg knowledge and you have the right attitude for learning, we can have a chat.

You will be a people person, able to build great relationships with your team and with the growers. Whether you're from a trade or an independent background, we'd love to hear from you.
