Are you someone who enjoys working with unique products and being part of a dedicated team of professionals passionate about what they do? Do you have a reach truck license? If you have experience in a warehouse environment, particularly with food handling, food safety, or food hygiene, then I'd love to hear from you!
What's in it for you?
Working in a team of passionate, driven individuals is something every workplace aims for, but it's rare to find. Here, it truly exists. You'll be joining a small, close-knit team that has faced challenges head-on, worked through busy periods by pulling together, and always celebrates success as one. If you're looking for a role where hard work is valued and teamwork is at the core, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
What will you be doing?
Step into an exciting opportunity as a Warehouse Associate in our Cold Store, where you'll be part of an expert team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. If you enjoy variety and staying active, this role is for you! You'll operate Ride-on Pallet Trucks to load and unload vehicles, use a Reach Truck to move pallets within the racking system, and occasionally handle loose cases from containers. From re-working stock and picking orders to checking in goods, every day brings something new. You'll also master the Counterbalance Truck and its clamp attachment to manage pallets efficiently. If you're ready for a hands-on, challenging role, we want to hear from you!
What do you need?
For this role, you will need a combination of essential skills and qualifications to excel. Specifically, you should have:
* Strong teamwork and a proactive, hands-on approach, with the ability to build close working relationships across departments.
* Excellent communication skills for smooth collaboration with colleagues.
* A track record of achieving personal KPIs, maintaining product quality, and ensuring operational accuracy and efficiency.
* A solid understanding of machine operations and routine tasks, coupled with the ability to work closely with the Engineering team to minimize equipment downtime.
* A commitment to safety and compliance.
* A Reach Truck license.
* And some experience with Ride-On and Counterbalance Trucks and prior warehouse experience is preferred but not necessary.
