Why This Role Stands Out?
We know how important it is to balance your career with your personal life, and this role has been designed to give you the best of both worlds:
- No Evening Work: Your evenings are free - no late nights required.
- Family-Friendly Holidays: The restaurant is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day, ensuring time with your loved ones.
- Generous Benefits Package: Enjoy access to retail and lifestyle discounts, health cash plans, and generous staff discounts.
- Free Parking: Making your commute stress-free.
- Plenty of Time Off: Benefit from six weeks of annual leave each year.
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours over 5 days, including weekends as part of the schedule.
What We're Looking For
We need a chef who can bring energy, creativity, and dedication to the kitchen. If you're someone who enjoys working with fresh ingredients and has a natural talent for preparing great food, we want to hear from you.
The Role Includes:
- Preparing and cooking fresh meals to order, ensuring consistent quality.
- Supporting stock management and keeping waste to a minimum.
- Maintaining the highest food hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Contributing to the smooth running of the kitchen by working collaboratively with the team.
- Closing the kitchen at the end of the day and preparing for the following shift.
What You Bring to the Team
You don't just see this as a job - you see it as a chance to grow and excel in a supportive environment. Ideally, you'll have:
- A passion for fresh, high-quality food.
- A solid understanding of food hygiene and kitchen standards.
- Great teamwork and communication skills.
- The ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Flexibility to work weekends as part of the rota.
Why Work With Us?
This isn't just another chef job - it's a chance to join a business that values your time and contribution. You'll be part of a welcoming team in a positive, supportive environment with no split shifts and the benefit of daytime hours.
