Are you a Rural Surveyor looking for your next challenge? Do you want to be involved in a company that allows you to grow and progress your career?
About Our Client:
Our client is a multi-disciplinary firm providing professional services to their rural client base throughout the north of England.
About Role:
They are seeking an experienced Rural Surveyor to join their friendly supportive team. The role will involve delivering professional advice across a range of matters including landlord and tenants, valuations, diversification and development projects, eco-system services, sales and lettings, energy and other emerging opportunities, primarily to private clients. You will work as part of a growing team to help build the company's public profile by attending events, speaking engagements and working alongside their farm consultants.
Skills & Qualifications:
You will have a degree-level qualification, ideally RICS accredited, with proven experience in multidisciplinary rural land management, preferably 5+ years. You should possess strong knowledge of current rural policies, legislation, and environmental regulations, particularly within the North of England. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential, allowing you to build rapport with clients and stakeholders effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Planner, and OneDrive, is expected. You will be self-motivated, able to work independently within company procedures, and any experience in environmental or forestry sectors would be an advantage.
