The Ideal Candidate
An MRICS qualified Chartered Surveyor, ideally with at least two years PQE, though all candidates will be considered. Minerals & Waste experience is a bonus, but not essential.
- Educated to a degree level in a relevant discipline.
- RICS Registered Valuer status would be a bonus.
- Comfortable with a high degree of autonomy.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work in an organised and methodical fashion, with high levels of attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to assimilate and convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to accept responsibility and work on your own initiative.
- Numerate and IT Literate.
- A full UK driving license is essential, as this role will encompass a good deal of travel.

About the Role
Our client is a leading multi-disciplinary professional service firm, offering a full range of services to their client base. You'll be working directly with a wide range of clients and putting your knowledge to practical use to accelerate their growth.
Their Minerals and Waste Surveying department is a small team which covers the whole of the UK, working with an extremely varied client base, from institutional and private landowners to corporate mineral and waste operators, and many more besides. Our client is keen to speak with candidates in all parts of the country and successful candidates can be located flexibly, though the team operates mainly from Leeds, Chelmsford and Winchester.
You'll be involved with a variety of professional work, including; minerals estate management; agreeing and negotiating new leases, rent and royalty reviews; valuation of assets; acquisition and disposal advice and identification of new minerals and waste opportunities.
