Are you an Assistant Farm Manager looking to elevate your career in a leading poultry business? Or maybe you're an experienced farm worker in a UK poultry environment and you feel that you're ready to take the next step up the ladder?

Do you want to be part of a reputable company that prioritizes animal welfare and high operational standards within the sector?

What will I be doing?

In this role, you'll support the Farm Manager in overseeing daily operations, including ventilation, heating, feeding, and lighting to create optimal living conditions for the birds. You will maintain accurate records related to poultry, feed, and suppliers while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards. Your leadership qualities will enable you to coordinate and guide Farm Assistants effectively, and to deputise during the Farm Manager's absence.

What do I need?

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a similar position, strong decision-making abilities, and the capacity to work autonomously. Supervisory and people management skills are essential, as is being organised and IT literate.

Experience in an Assistant Farm Manager position, or two-plus years hands-on experience on poultry farms in the UK would be required for this role. Unfortunately our client is currently unable to provide sponsorship.

Who for?

Our client is a household name, with operations across the UK involved in the entire poultry production cycle. They value their employees and they're committed to their growth, offering opportunities for development through their bespoke Agriculture Academy. They are a thriving business, with competitive salary packages and various benefits.
