Do you have a passion for poultry farming and a drive to make a difference? We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Assistant Farm Manager to help take our client's poultry operations to the next level!

What You'll Be Doing:

In this role, you'll be working closely with the Farm Manager, focusing on all aspects of managing a thriving poultry farm. You'll play a key role in ensuring the health, welfare, and productivity of our birds, while also helping to supervise a small team and manage daily farm activities. Whether it's maintaining accurate records, overseeing bird welfare, or ensuring our farm meets the highest standards, you'll be at the heart of it all.

You'll also be responsible for:

  • Providing full relief cover during the Farm Manager's holidays and alternate weekends.
  • Maintaining accurate records related to birds, food, and supplies.
  • Reporting on hatching egg numbers, maintenance issues, and bird welfare.
  • Ensuring all hygiene procedures are followed to company standards, minimizing environmental impact and complying with quality audits.

About You:

Proven people skills and team leadership experience is essential for this one.

Given the size of the operation, you must be a great team player. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining high standards of bird welfare.

For this role, you'll need to have a valid UK driving license.
