Woodlodge is family business and the UK’s leading supplier of garden pots, distributing products to over 2,000 garden centres and retail outlets nationwide.
Having placed the General Manager there in 2018, the MorePeople team remained in touch with the business and recently supported them in finding a new National Account Manager.
Our Approach
We regularly visit client sites to gain a better understanding of the business and culture. Just before Covid hit, Tom from the Commercial team and Lawrence from the Operations team visited the Woodlodge site in Gloucestershire for a tour of the facilities, an insight into the full product range and to meet the wider team.
This knowledge helped with finding potential candidates for the National Account Manager role as cultural fit was very important. The successful candidate was looking for a hands-on role with an entrepreneurial business and he has settled in very quickly.
