Biobest is a global Sustainable Crop Management company with a mission to contribute to global sustainable production of high-value crops, by being the most reliable partner in biological crop protection and pollination. They are a leading worldwide producer of macro biological controls for horticulture and agriculture, offering sustainable, natural solutions for pests and diseases. They offer a wide range of beneficial insects, mites, and nematodes. Crops deserves a sustainable and complete approach; some pieces of the puzzle are missing but that is where Biobests’ Research & Development department takes the lead.
Our Approach
We’ve worked to foster a great relationship with Biobest, getting to know the businesses goals, ambitions and culture. Because we’re specialists in the industry when we were discussing what this role would look like, a number of people came to mind straight away. We didn’t end up advertising this role due to the connections MorePeople already have, and as a result, we were able to quickly provide a shortlist which led to success.
I thoroughly enjoyed working this role with Tim. Tim and known each other for a few years now, and we continue to meet at trade shows and keep in touch regardless of recruitment. So when Tim needed to look for someone, we met for a coffee and got cracking straight away. Due to having this relationship, Tim and I could collaborate honestly about challenges and timelines to make sure we were successful. Getting to know a business is so important, through knowing them on a more personal level, I can work the role confident that Zara, Biobests’ new recruit, will thrive with them.
